1. Taitung Art Museum

If you're new to Taitung, the Taitung Art Museum should be your first stop! This stunning museum, designed by the acclaimed Japanese architect Tadao Ando, is famous for its unique triangular roof. It's even been named one of the top ten most beautiful art museums in the world. With regular exhibitions featuring both local and international artists, it's a must-visit for any art lover.

  • Hop on the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle East Line and disembark at the "Taitung Art Museum" station

2. Luye Plateau

Nestled in the heart of Luye Township, Taitung, the "Luye Plateau" sits around 200 meters above sea level. From here, you'll be treated to an incredible 360-degree view that stretches across the Taitung Plain and out to the vast Pacific Ocean. Every year, from June to August, the plateau comes alive with the "Hot Air Balloon Festival." It's a perfect chance to hop on a hot air balloon and soak in the stunning scenery from above.

4. Duoliang Station

Known as Taiwan’s most picturesque little train station, Duoliang Station is a true gem! Built from tropical wood, this charming station sits perfectly between the vast Pacific Ocean and verdant mountains, offering a stunning view. 6. Bolang Avenue

Transportation:
